BLUETOOTH
Enjoy wireless music and phone calls in hi-fi quality. The S9 offers a stable wireless Bluetooth connection to your phone or audio component. With the support of aptX HD Audio you can experience wireless HiFi playback with up to 48 kHz / 24-bit resolution. Using the buttons on the housing makes operation child’s play.
BATTERY LIFE
The light, integrated battery offers up to 24 hours of operation including playback. This is enough to handle long flights without recharging, which takes about four hours via the supplied USB cable. The included headphone cable lets you continue listening if the battery should be empty.
GOOGLE ASSISTANT
Optimized for Google Assistant. If you hold down the button, you can ask the Google Assistant to play songs, playlists, artists and albums, or to play news, podcasts and radio. You are automatically notified of new calls, messages or events. You can record answers for friends, family and colleagues using voice control.
NOISE-CANCELLING & AWARENESS MODE
The S9 immerses you completely in the music and reduces stress, whether you are sitting on a full airplane or working in the office. The active noise-canceling technology recognizes external sounds and generates frequencies of the opposite phase in order to suppress them. Alternatively, you can select the Ambient Awareness mode to allow ambient noise for a better acoustic orientation..
HIGH-RES AUDIO
The S9’s large 40mm rare earth magnetic drivers offer excellent bass response and wide frequency response, effectively capturing the expanded dynamic range of high definition audio. Light but powerful CCAW voice coils (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) ensure clean and precise sound across the entire audio spectrum.
PIONEER HEADPHONES APP
Developed exclusively for Pioneer headphones, the new and expansiblePioneer Headphone App offers quick and smooth wireless connection to your compatible smartphone, easy access to call-enhancement functions, and one-touch switching between noise-cancellation modes.
